DONATION GUIDELINES

The circulating collection solicits donations in several collecting areas:  

• Books on the following subjects:
  • Textiles 
    • Textile History
    • Textile Science
    • Textile Techniques
    • Textile Technology
    • Textile Crafts
    • Textile Art and Textile Artists
    • Textiles and Social Movements
    • Alternative Libraries and Museums
    • Library Science
    • Collecting and Collectors
    • History of Computing
    • History of Science

• Textile swatches and samples 
• Sewing patterns
• Textile tools 

As Thread Library’s circulating collections are stored on a bookshelf, any item donated to the circulating collection should be portable.
